Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Some laws, such as the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada Senate Bill 370, treat data about your body and training as consumer health data and require a separate notice about it. This page is that notice. It applies to the Fitgamma iPhone app and supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes everything else we process.
What consumer health data we collect
Fitgamma works with the following data about you:
- gender, date of birth (age), height and weight — entered by you or, with your permission, read from Apple Health
- the limitations and injuries you select in the questionnaire, your goal, training experience and fitness level
- your workouts: exercises, sets, reps, weights and durations, and heart rate and active energy when read from Apple Health
- what you write to the AI trainer, which may include how you feel
Sources: you, and Apple Health when you allow it. We do not buy health data and do not collect it from other companies.
Why we use it
To provide what you ask the app to do: generate workouts that fit your body and limitations, log your training, answer in the trainer chat, sync your data between your devices through your iCloud, and keep the service running and secure.
Our analytics provider receives only your goal and fitness level, never your body measurements, limitations or injuries. We do not use consumer health data for advertising and do not sell it.
Who receives it
- Apple — iCloud sync and Apple Health, under your Apple ID and the permissions you grant
- our server in Kazakhstan — the profile values and completed workouts needed to generate the next workout
- OpenRouter and Google (USA) — your trainer messages and training profile, to generate replies
- Amplitude (USA) — analytics: goal and fitness level only
These companies act as our service providers. We do not share consumer health data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
- withdraw Apple Health permissions at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings
- change or remove limitations, injuries, height and weight in the app's Profile tab; the next generated workout uses the new values
- delete your account in the app (Profile tab → Delete Account): this erases the data on your device and in your iCloud and deactivates your account
- email with your Support ID to have the data our server and our analytics provider still hold erased completely, or to receive a copy of it
We reply within 30 days and do not treat you differently for exercising your rights. If we cannot fulfil a request, we explain why; you can appeal by replying to our email, and residents of Washington can also contact the Washington State Attorney General.
Retention
Data on your device and in your iCloud is yours to keep or delete. Our server keeps profile snapshots and workout history while your account exists and, after deactivation, until you ask us to erase them; database backups are kept for up to 3 months. Analytics data is kept by Amplitude until we ask it to delete your records at your request.
